Virgin Mobile launches stylish vDesire phone with over 1000 SMS storage capability

New Delhi, December 18, 2008: Virgin Mobile, India’s first national youth focused mobile service brand, today further enhanced its handset portfolio by launching vDesire. Distinctively slim, measuring just 11.5 mm, this stylish, chrome finished mobile device is endowed with 1000 SMS storage capability and supports a large internal phonebook with 500 X 5 entries. The phone comes with an attractive 65K color screen, FM Radio, Stereo headset, Speaker phone, Prepaid connection and Lifetime Validity at a price point of just Rs.1,699/-. Moreover, the handset allows users one touch access to Vbytes, Virgin Mobile’s data portal, from where they can download wallpapers, ring tones and games at a daily access charge of just Rs. 5/- .
