Make your own movies and play hit MP3 music on the K510 and K310

New Delhi, July 19th 2006 – Sony Ericsson has launched its Blockbuster Series phones - the K510 and the K310. Both these phones come with video recording and MP3 playback capabilities. The K510 offers recording upto 25 minutes while the K310 provides consumers with over 15 minutes of recording time. These blockbuster phones allow music aficionados to enjoy their favourite MP3 tracks. Apart from this, the K510 is a 1.3 Megapixel camera phone with Bluetooth™, push email and fun imaging effects, and the K310 is a pocket picture album that also offers 3D games. These phones are currently available at ‘Best-Buy’ price of Rs. 8163/- (K 510) and Rs. 5660/- (K 310).

Speaking on the launch Mr. Sudhin Mathur, General Manager, Sony Ericsson India said, "The new Blockbuster Series phones from Sony Ericsson are sure to be a ‘great hit’ with Indian consumers. These phones will enable consumers to make their own movies by capturing memorable occasions. Besides this, the MP3 player available in these phones offers opportunity to listen to chartbusting tracks anytime, anywhere. The K510i and K310i capture good quality shots and also provide greater choice in sharing photographs – via email, Bluetooth™, MMS or IrDA."

The K510 is the smallest and most affordable 1.3 Megapixel phone from Sony Ericsson and delivers high quality pictures. The camera includes a shutter button, 4x digital zoom and optional true camera flash that does away with red-eye and delivers great shots after dark. Pictures can be made more captivating with simple effects such as face warp, sepia colourising and panorama views.

The K510 also has an external antenna connector, Bluetooth™ support, USB Cable in the box, and supports industry-standard push email, excellent talk and standby times. New PC synchronization software keeps the user right up to date with the full suite of Outlook applications, including Calendar, Contacts, Notes and Tasks.

The Sony Ericsson K310 is a Triple Band GPRS handset. MP3 ringtones, 3D games and a media player with MP3 make the K310 an entertaining partner when travelling, in the gym or walking. The stick design handset integrates a camera phone with practical tools for viewing, storing and sharing images. Added features, uncommon at this price point, include high quality display with the 65K Ultra Bright Colour (UBC) display and imaging effects such as face warp.
