Sony Ericsson all set to energize the mobile phone market in India
Unveils Breakthrough Technologies that take the next step in mobile music, imaging and 3G experiences
 
New Delhi, March 16, 2005: Sony Ericsson, the pioneer in innovative and stylish mobile phone solutions, today introduced a new range of six thrilling mobile phones for the Indian market. With the launch of these new phones, Sony Ericsson presented revolutionary ways for consumers to get more out their mobile experiences by capturing, enjoying and communicating with never before seen features and concepts in mobile phones.

With these new phones, Sony Ericsson intends to capture a larger market share in the Indian mobile phone industry in the year 2005. The company is confident to appeal to the style and design conscious, yet value driven Indian consumers.

In line with the companies’ commitment for offering the ultimate consumer experience, the mobile phones presented a host of “Firsts” of Sony Ericsson’s Mobile Communication in India. Some of these are:

Also launched today is the K300i, the super value camera phone for the youth and the J300i, with personalization features like unique style up covers and 3-D game and ring tone downloads. Both the phones are perfect offerings for the young expressionists and the fun-loving youth. “54 % of India's population is under 25 years of age and comprises of consumers who are looking for a phone that is feature packed and affordable without compromising on looks and that is exactly what we are offering them through J300i and the K300i.” added Sudhin Mathur. “We see our consumers to be curious, non-conformists and aspiring. As a brand, and as a company, we aspire to give our consumers tools for creative communications.” Sudhin added further.
