Mumbai: March 05, 2007 - Nokia, the world leader in mobile communications today announced the launch of its slim, powerful and stylish Nokia 6300 in India. The latest offering from Nokia was unveiled by the popular Bollywood actor Rahul Bose, best known for his versatility and new-age films.

To offer consumers a personalized mobile experience, Nokia 6300 announced a ‘limited edition’ wherein the first 2500 consumers across India can get their names etched on the phone, choosing from a range of stylized fonts and designs.  Nokia also presented Rahul Bose with the first laser-etched Nokia 6300.
 
Nokia 6300 is amongst the most impeccably designed handset in the mid-range portfolio, weighing a mere 91 grams and measuring less than 13.1mm thin. Nokia 6300 is packed with easy-to-use features offering a best in class 16.7 million colour screen, a 2 megapixel camera with 8X Zoom, Email capabilities, built-in MP3 player and FM radio. The handset is targeted at consumers aspiring for both style and feature rich capabilities.
