
New Delhi, November 30, 2007: Delhi is all charged up for the weekend as Nokia Nseries launches Digital Playzone – the ultimate technology challenge at Ansal Plaza, New Delhi. Four short-listed ‘Technoholics’, chosen in a month-long online hunt, will immerse themselves in the ultimate tech life for three whole days in the Digital Playzone, in full view of the public. This will include performing entertaining acts and completing a series of increasingly difficult tasks involving use of technology and multiple gadgets. The public can watch, participate, rate, interact, blog and comment on the tasks the Technoholics are to complete.
The last one standing will be crowned India’s Resident Technoholic and win a trip for two to Rio for Mardi Gras and Nokia’s new N81 multimedia entertainment device. The public stand a chance to win an N81 too! Simply participate in the Digital Playzone online and send in suggested tasks for the Technoholics. To be hosted by the country’s Tech Guru Rajiv Makhni, the Indian chapter of Nseries Digital Playzone is part of a contest being held in seven countries across the region.

The online Nokia Nseries Digital Playzone received a huge response from all over the country with close to 1500 entries from the time it was first announced on November 1st, 2007.

The Challenge
4 Technoholics have been

Playzone. Through a series of tasks over 3 days, three will be eliminated
and one will emerge as the champion. “Popularity” Tasks require Technoholics
to perform a range of acts, in collaboration with the audience, around
imaging, music and gaming. “Elimination” Tasks (one per day), other hand,
dramatize the key functionality of Nokia N81 and determine who is eliminated
from the Digital Playzone, highlighting the key features of Nokia N81 -
