Nokia Nseries announces ‘Art Meets Intelligence’ Design Fest
 
Renowned designers showcase Mobile Themes inspired by the techno-stylish N76

 New Delhi, July 18, 2007: Nokia Nseries, the premium multimedia sub-brand of Nokia, today announced a first-of-its-kind initiative – ‘Art Meets Intelligence’ Design Fest for aspiring designers in the country in association with Elle Décor.   India’s leading young Design Gurus – Abraham & Thakore, Anthony Lopez, Arzaan Khambatta, Michael Foley, Mukul Goyal and Thukral & Tagra launched this initiative with Nokia Nseries by unveiling a unique collection of mobile themes inspired by the stylish N76.  These exquisite designer themes, comprising of three screens each, will be showcased on the Nokia Nseries website and can be downloaded by Nseries users free of cost to accessorize their devices.
 
The Art Meets Intelligence Design Fest, organized in association with Elle Décor, will provide budding designers an opportunity to unleash their creativity and design themes for mobile devices using the N76 as a muse.  The themes will be judged by a distinguished panel comprising of the designers, Nokia Nseries and Elle Décor.  The creator of the Best Theme Design will be awarded with the snazzy Nokia N76 and a trip to the Nokia Design Centre in Finland.

Sharing a perspective on this unique initiative Mr. Alok Mehta, Manager-Marketing, Multimedia, Nokia India, said, “The Art Meets Intelligence design fest reiterates Nokia Nseries’ endeavor to extend a truly world class mobile experience to users, in terms of technology, design and innovation. The design insight for the Nokia N76 was based on the understanding that the more extrovert Nokia Nseries consumers look for style with substance. We are confident –that Art Meets Intelligence Design Fest will give a whole new meaning to the way design and innovations in mobile devices are perceived by people.”

The fest is open to people across the country and is scheduled to commence from July 20, 2007 All one needs to do is log on to the new Nseries theme generator on http://www.insidenseries.com/ThemeApplication/login.aspx. Contestants have the option of either creating a theme online with the visuals available or uploading their own designs, and submitting one theme comprising of three screens each.

·     All original designs should be in jpeg format

·     500 kb in size with a resolution of 240x320 mega pixels. The last day for submitting the entries is August 20, 2007
