Nokia Nseries presents Digital Playzone: The Ultimate Technology Challenge
The search for India’s resident Technoholic begins in the first ever online reality show
 
New Delhi, November 15, 2007:  Nokia Nseries, the premium multimedia sub brand of Nokia has announced the ultimate technology challenge - Digital Playzone in India. With this initiative, Nokia Nseries brings together technology enthusiasts, their passion for technology and entertainment in an interactive digital lifestyle format.  To  be held over the weekend from November 30-December 02, 2007, 4 aspiring ‘Technoholics’  will be selected to go into a glass enclosure where they will perform a series of increasingly difficult tasks while living the ultimate tech life for three consecutive evenings. The Nseries Digital Playzone is being held in seven countries acsoss Asia.

So this challenge is a wonderful opportunity to showcase some of the latest consumer technology and create a fun competition that brings different communities together through participation.”

Aspiring Technoholics from across the country are invited to   register at www.nokia.co.in/digitalplayzone, where they will need to submit their particulars, complete a short questionnaire and explain why they should be considered India’s resident Technoholic. Viewed as leaders in their wide social network, Technoholics are technology enthusiasts who crave consumer gadgets that improve the quality of their lives. They are well informed on the latest releases and always willing to praise the wonders of cool, new innovations and gadgets to anyone that will listen. 

The Digital Playzone portal will serve as a one stop shop for viewing entries and photos submitted by potential Technoholics. Positioned as India’s first online reality show, Digital Playzone will also be open for public voting allowing people to vote for their favorite Technoholic.  Entries and voting are open till November 20, 2007. 

Nokia Nseries along with a distinguished panel will screen 15 short listed candidates to select four (4) Technoholics to enter the Nokia Nseries Digital Playzone. The Digital Playzone will showcase the convergence of technology and entertainment in a competitive setting. The enclosed Technoholics will race to complete tasks that include performing entertaining acts with the audience, through to increasingly difficult elimination rounds. It will allow the selected Technoholics to interact with and experience the latest in consumer technology, from entertainment, imaging, video, gaming and music. The glass enclosure will allow the viewing audience and those walking by to watch and actively participate.
