The service offers MTNL Dolphin (Postpaid) & Trump(Prepaid) customers, the option to set their favorite songs as ring back tone for callers to listen to instead of the routine "Tring Tring".

The services are charged at Rs.25 per month for subscription and Rs.12 per premium song selection and Rs.9 per song for non premium songs.

The service can be accessed and activated via IVRS by dialing short code 56789.  Alternatively customers can SMS ACT PT to 56789 to activate caller tune service with free MTNL signature tune as the RBT.  The song selection can be done by dialing 56789 or by SMSing PT <song code> to 56789.
