India’s 1st and revolutionary prepaid product with no boundaries!

New Delhi, November 11, 2005  In another revolutionary move, Idea Cellular, India’s leading Cellular Service provider today announced the launch of India’s first pre paid innovation devoid of boundaries. It is the first time a service provider will offer the customer a product with the freedom to control the validity of his voucher as well as control his talktime.

Keeping in mind the limitations of the current prepaid offerings vis-à-vis calling rates, talk time and validity periods, in the marketplace, Idea Cellular has launched SUPERPOWER which offers the customer a  “no-compromise” product with full talktime, Zero upfront processing fee and maximum validity on all vouchers. With a nominal daily deduction, Idea’s SUPERPOWER is a win-win for all prepaid customers.

EXAMPLES

One: Rs. 110 Voucher

Q. What happens to a heavy user if he consumes the entire talktime in 1 day

A. He pays NO processing fee, uses Rs. 110 as talktime and can also receive incoming calls for 20 days

Q. What happens if a medium user consumes talktime in 5 days

A. He pays only Rs. 25 processing fee and get Rs. 75 talktime. What’s more, he can receive incoming calls for next 15 days.

Q. What will be the balance after 10 days for a low user who does not make any outgoing calls.

A. He will have a balance of Rs. 50 available for making any emergency outgoing calls.

Two: Rs. 330 Voucher
 
Q. What happens to a heavy user if he consumes entire talktime in 10 days

A. He pays only Rs. 50 processing fee (instead of Rs. 150 at present) and can receive incoming calls for 60 days

Q. What happens if a medium user consumer talktime in 30 days

A. He pays only Rs. 150 processing fee and get Rs. 150 worth of talktime. What’s more, he can continue to receive incoming calls for remaining 30 days of validity.

Q. What will be the balance after 30 days for a low user who does not make any outgoing calls.

A. He will have a balance of Rs. 150 available for making any emergency outgoing call.
