BenQ TIE-UP  WITH SALORA INTERNATIONAL FOR DISTRIBUTION OF MOBILE PHONES

Mumbai,January 3rd, 2006 - BenQ Mobile, one of the world's leading companies in the network lifestyle digital devices, has today  tied up with renowned distributor Salora International Ltd, for distribution of BenQ mobile phones. Salora International which is a part of the 225 U.S million dollar, Jiwrajka group, has its forte in distribution of Telecom & IT Products, Electronics Component Manufacturing & Salora Brand Consumer Electronics.

The tie-up between two companies will facilitate a platform for BenQ to market and sell their current range of Siemens handsets and to be launched BenQ-Siemens. BenQ will officially release its range of co-branded BenQ-Siemens handsets on 17th January at Berlin. Equipped with a rich distribution experience and trained manpower, Salora has made phenomenal headway in establishing leading brands in the domain of telecom, IT and Consumer Electronics.
