                  Robert  Dung,  BenQ's  Managing  Director  Shifts Base to India

Mumbai, April 17, 2006: With the potential of the Indian market rapidly increasing,  BenQ's Managing Director for India and the Middle East, Robert Dung is shifting base to India from Dubai. The move is aimed to fortify BenQ's foothold in India across the spectrum of its products.

With rapid progress across the three business groups namely the Mobile, Computing and Digital Media, BenQ is now looking forward to introduce new product lines such as LCD TVs and Digicams to cater to ever increasing consumer demands.

Speaking on the occasion, Robert Dung, Managing Director, India says, "Globally, India has become a very attractive market, owing to its burgeoning demand for sophisticated technology. The Indian consumer is demanding for high quality technology, tailored to suit their lifestyles.

With the increasing excitement and consistent growth in the Indian IT markets, it has become imperative for me to shift base to India."

Over the last three years, BenQ has accounted for a consistent increased market share in the IT products and peripherals domain. " This would not have been possible without the tremendous support of our channel partners", continued Dung.
