of Ganesh K Vanapalli as Chief Security Officer (CSO) for the Asia Pacific

unit for mobile phones in Chennai, India.The move follows closely on the

BT to serve Nestlé
with global infrastructure
BT has today announced a
new global services agreement with Nestlé, the world’s leading Food
Company. This very significant deal will see BT deliver, develop and manage
Nestlé’s global wide area network services for another three years.
The scope of the contract is
to deliver and manage a global VPN (Virtual Private Network) using MPLS
(Multi-Protocol Label Switching) services connecting more than 1,000 sites

REDUCE BT’S CARBON FOOTPRINT
The use of conferencing
by BT staff worldwide has reduced BT’s carbon footprint by at least 97,000
tonnes of CO2 and eliminated more than 860,000 face-to-face meetings, the
results of a survey announced today revealed.
The February 2007 survey
by the University of Bradford and SustainIT looked at the economic, environmental
and social impact of conferencing at BT. A sample of 6,000 BT staff from
across the company were surveyed on their use of conferencing, with the
findings extended to BT as a whole and annualised. The use of conferencing
and collaboration services enable people to conduct meetings with colleagues
via telephone, video or web, facilitating speedier decision making, increased
productivity and a reduction in associated travel costs. more...

BT Q4/final results

BT Global Services, the
division in charge of BT's operations in India, continues its journey to
be the global leader in the digital networked economy, increasing revenues
outside the UK in Q4 at a 17 per cent market beating year on year growth
rate and signing £9.3 billion of ground-breaking contracts for the
full year, spanning all geographies and services.
BT Global Services also achieved
its 20th successive quarter of year-on-year EBITDA growth (pre-leavers).
There was continuing strong growth throughout the year in continental Europe,
as well as in emerging regions such as Latin-America, Central & Eastern
Europe and MEA. Europe grew at 15 per cent in Q4 (10 per cent full year),
Asia Pac grew at 20 per cent in Q4 (more than 15 per cent full year), North
America grew more than 30 per cent in Q4 (more than 20 per cent full year).

2007 — QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading developer

wireless technologies, today announced that it has signed a CDMA2000®
subscriber unit and modem card license agreement with DigiBee Microsystems
Inc., a Delaware corporation. Under the terms of the worldwide, royalty-bearing
agreement, QUALCOMM has granted DigiBee Microsystems a patent license to
develop, manufacture and sell CDMA2000 subscriber units and modem card
products. DigiBee will initially focus on products for the Indian market.
